Lovely building with good size rooms. Fantastic location in the heart of everything but still quiet. Extremely helpful, friendly staff. Great breakfast.

The location and room were excellent. The staff and specifically Christina M was an absolute champion to deal with from the first moment we arrived. A great experience and would highly recommend this property.

Our room with balcony and sea view surpassed expectations - it was comfortable, stylish, immaculately clean, with a superb view. Our stay was enhanced by the Scala de Faro staff who were all friendly, positive & very helpful. The excellent breakfast was a great start to the day. Would stay again.

Located in the center old port, but as we were off season it was not too crowded. We had a room with port view and small balcony. Totally worth it. The room is confortable and we had a good breakfast. The design is very nice.

the breakfast was amazing, outstanding -- and different every day (very creative). All Staff were so kind, helpful. Reception staff were outstanding, so welcoming, helpful throughout out visit. Very good with recommendations, from where to eat, to parking. They consistently went above and beyond expectations. We enjoyed absolutely every interaction with them, they made our visit such a positive experience.

Location and view was Amazing right in the center of the harbor. Easy to get to restaurants and shops. Staff especially front desk Cristina and Anita were very helpful and friendly. Niko was the first person we met and he greeted us with smile and great service

Perfect location, with view on the ocean and the lighthouse, and on the backside one of the prettiest little alleys. Absolutely beautiful room with great lighting, a strong shower and high quality of linen, towels etc. Free water every day and a well filled minibarm, which is rare these days. As soon as I can, I will go back.

The location of the hotel is the best in Chania and maybe in Crete ,its in the center of the old harbour. The breakfast is really good! The service was PERFECT, Cristina and Anita was so Kind to us. Cristina helped us to discover Chania and the erea with a lot of patience and kindness. She really upgraded our vacation. Thank you 🙏🏼

The hotel is beautiful and it's position on the old port is perfect - however the best thing about it is the amazing staff. Ada was fantastic and all the others too, the girl with the glasses (sorry I don't remember her name) was especially sweet. The staff really contributed to making our stay at the hotel and Crete so memorable.

Everything about Scala de Fara was excellent, beyond what we expected. It is a beautiful boutique hotel, gorgeous view, excellent breakfast, and the staff was exceptional. Our concierge, Christina, was beyond helpful with our myriad of questions and we felt so welcome every morning when she greeted us, by name, and engaged in conversation about our experiences in Chania and plans for the day, we've never had such wonderful service in a hotel. Thank you!
